Will Heilman ever see the rotation?

i cant shake this feeling like he is a star pitcher being held back...i really think if he starts he can be something special.........assuming sanchez comes back next year and if we can keep hernandez can we give this kid a shot? i was at the game last year where he blanked the marlins against josh beckett...man did he look great.

Heilman could start next year, but I highly doubt they move him out of the bullpen. However, if Henry Owens starts pitching lights out and more like Sanchez, Heilman could be in the rotation next year.

I don't know the exact contract they worked out with Roberto, but I believe he'll be gone again after this year.

Star pitcher? There’s a reason why he’s in the bullpen, his stuff is more hittable the more times the lineup sees him – he’s not lights out as a set up guy, either.

isn't he a fa next yr

the reason why Heilman is in the bullpen is because he only has two reliable pitches

if he can add more pitches and work on them maybe he can be a starter one day

exactly...he's much better as a reliever than he will ever be as a starter...

No, I still don't like him batting 2nd, but I am thrilled about the way he is hitting of late.
