    Going into the bottom of the 9th, 2-1 Yanks... a 5 game sweep will be so sweet....

    What a series for the Yankees. I expected a 2-3 series loss if anything. But a 5 game sweep This tells you something about this Yankee squad.

    I don't think anyone expected a sweep of the five games.

    I will say this though.

    The Sox are not as bad as they played in this series.
    The Yankees are not as good as they played in this series.

    Still 5 or 6 weeks left and alot can happen over those 5 or 6 weeks.

    I disagree shawn. The Sox really are this bad. That bullpen is atrocious. They have literallly one reliable arm in there and it's of a rookie who has already shown the signs of hitting a wall.

    Their starting rotation is also horrendous. They don't get enough offense from the SS, CF, and C positions (and RF to a certain extent with Nixon out). They just aren't a good team.

    By the way, Lidle had quite the game today. Great, great series. We beat them in every single possible way.
