I am dreading the Ireland/Germany game. I think the Germans may beat us 3-0. I'm not usually this pessimistic, but we were really bad against Holland a few weeks ago, when we lost 4-0 at home. I know it was only a 'friendly', but it was real, real bad...worst home defeat in 40 years.

The goal went of a Irish player I think. Italy lost, which was a surprise.

they didn't lose, they tied. of course, tying against Lithuania is pretty much the same as losing

The Ireland game wasn't the blowout that I feared. We were good in thefirst half, poor in the second. I think Italy drawing at home was the shock result of the weekend, but I am sure they will recover in the next series of games.
