    no way.

    World Champion Oakland Athletics????

Yankees - Mets World Series. 7 games, it will come down to the ninth inning. Can't predict winner.

Posted like a true Braves fan.

Mets vs. Padres in NLCS, Mets win

Yanks vs. Twinkies in ALCS, Yanks win

Let's see if I get that far before I make the next prediction.

Paulie, dont ever say no way. Strange things have happened. I like the Tigers over the Yanks, they may surprise some folks! And the A's have great pitching with a good closer. Well see shortly...

In other MLB news..Girardi was fired from the Marlins. That owner should be ashamed of himself. This is good for us NL east guys!

    A's have no shot.

As much as I would like to see a Subway Series, I think I would enjoy a Dodgers - Yankees WS even better. Now that's an old school matchup.

I'm giving you a hard time.

    Tigers over Yanks though?

I know the Tigers have a formidable Old Dominion Alum (Verlander) throwing but he can't do it all by himself!

That's really ****ed up. Marlin's management pulled a fast one on Girardi and gave him a 15 million dollar payroll. Granted, this is how they operate, but Girardi made that team respectable. He gave that team leadership. I really hope the Marlins fall backwards next year so the FO's knows that maybe they should care less about their ego being bruised by Joe's comments and more about winning.

It's a tough crowd..anytime you pick a team over someone's favorite they will dispute it, which is fair. We'll see...

Its more than that for the Yanks/Tigers though they played 7 times, Yanks won 5 of them the other 2 times the Tigers rallied in the 9th inning. . . .those 2 losses were also games in which Mariano couldn't pitch If Mariano could have pitched we would have been 7-0 against them. . .I will take those odds
