This just reported on ESPN. El Duque suffers calf injury during practice. Questionable for Game 1. MRI pending.

So "we" just have to get a couple of more runs. No biggie. The Codgers will fall.

Better check his shoulder while you are at it.

Why not Darren Oliver? We already know all the others suck. At least Ollie was in the playoffs once...in 1996. We don't exactly need a long man in the pen, at least not as much as we need a starter.

I think Oliver may be a possibility. The problem is then... who pitches long relief ??

Either way let's get it done. Our offense needs to step up and put up numbers.

You gotta believe. Let's Go Mets.

Btw, anyone see the parallels to Mets and Jets luck ... Whatever can go wrong will. Gotta love rooting for both of these teams.

Oliver is definitely a possibility. I just think it might be Oliver Perez.

The guys erratic, but who knows....he could pitch a gem. We're running out of other options.

I don't know about that, but it does have a certain cromagnon look to it!
