    Big game...............if you want to be a championship team these are the games you have to win.

    Forecast calls for heavy rain. There goes another travel day. This time it works in our favor, tho. Glavine should get an extra day's rest.

    fine by me......Glavine is 100 times better on regular rest.

    Carp is a much better pitcher at Busch than on the road.

    I, for one, would much rather play today, have Glavine pitch on short rest against Weaver on short rest and see what happens.

    The Cards are coming off a pretty bad loss with their pen getting abused pretty badily. Id rather keep the pressure on and play tonight.

    That said, it seems like the weather in St. Louis is worse than the weather at Shea was last week on Wed. I doubt this game gets played.
