Who cares... honestly???
Would he have done the same (or better) than Curtis is given exactly the same # of opportunities?
Who cares... honestly???
We all do. He's the greatest - isnt he? Led us to a Superbowl in '04 and also '98. The workhorse every team feared.Originally Posted by 13

Yes we were - thats why we're going to retire Curtis' #. Nobody was scarier to opposing defenses than Curtis.Originally Posted by 13
Please stop dishonoring Klecko's number like this.Originally Posted by Jetman73
So, Joe, he was better than Freeman? Lead us to more playoff appearances? Had more huge games in the playoffs? Broke open more games when we needed it? Thats right - dump. Lets retire Chrebet's # as well.Originally Posted by Klecko73isGod
let me tell you Lamont really stuck it to the JEts once he left, he really showed what they missed out on, like an ex-girlfriend becoming a stripper, really rubbed it in the jets face, I really cant believe their are JET FANS that dont appreciate what Curtis has done in his Career
Curtis always played behind a good - to very good line - unlike in Oakland.Originally Posted by AnthonySerp
Why would anyone knock Cumar for what he was?? He was a excellent Workhorse back that had amazing durability and field vision! Was he a Back that came through in Big Games?? No...Matt Snell he wasn't!!Originally Posted by SBIIICHAMPS

YES!!!! He was better than McNeil!!! I've heard Freeman say so himself!!!! There's only an handful of backs in history I would take over Curtis.Originally Posted by Jetman73
Jim Brown - best ever.
Barry Sanders - close second.
Walter Payton - The only guy more reliable and consistent than Curtis.
Tyrell Davis? No. Flash in the pan. Career shortened by injury due to his running style.
Gale Sayers? No. Ditto Davis.
John Riggins? No. Better overall runner than Curtis, but a ****ty attitude.
Franco Harris? No. Never met a sideline he didn't like.
Eric Dickerson? No. Had only 3-4 truly great seasons and was otherwise average. Also a ****ty attitude.
Emmitt Smith? No. Ran behind the greatest o-line in history. One can only wonder if Smith and Sander's switched teams what their carreer numbers would have looked like.
is this really a poll about 2004 ?
Can someplone please explain to me why some people are still talking about LaMont?
The guy hasn't shown a damn thing in his career. We have Leon now.
How about we forget about Jordan?
