Democracy means the people of a nation choose the leaders THEY want not the leaders WE want. Sometimes other nations choose leaders that may not be whats best for US. Look at Iraq!

How do you attack Carter for supporting a socialist candidate and not blame Bush for backing Iraq's government which received and accepted refuge by the Ayattolah, was trained by Iran's Revolutionary Guard and committed murder against American in Beirutin the early 1980s?

the same posters go on the make bigger fools of themselves by saying they don't necessarily agree with the content of the material after posting it...

twist?? I'm just taking your posts verbatim:

I have known about FAIR for quite some time now. I don't agree with all that they state. I just understand that they story that I posted was well researched (they describe it).

I did not say that everything they release is true or not slanted or that I agree with it.
maybe you should try and comprehend your own posts....

My point is that I denigrate a whole site because I disagree with something that they state. I look at the particular content, determine if it is relevant and then make a decision.

I don't how to make that clearer to you....please assist me....thanks

it's not worth the effort....

after taking a 30-second tour of the site any rational thinking person would realize their content is nothing more than a leftsit talking points....

as I previously said- it is no different then a conservative using pieces from Rush Limbaugh's website to make a point,,,,

So since I don't agree with your thinking on some things am I not a patriot of the USA? Am I the equivilant of Benedict Arnold and other less than truthful items?

didn't you just accuse me of twisting things??

I responded with one of your own posts to disprove your point- I dare you to find something I posted which fractionally represents anything you allege above.....

You do twist things:
My point is that I denigrate a whole site because I disagree with something that they state. I look at the particular content, determine if it is relevant and then make a decision.

You declare that a site is left because they posted a link(s) that you don't like. The site may very well be left leaning/right leaning. I on the other hand look at one particular link on the site and post and talk about that link.

I listen to Rush at times. I look at Fox (FAUX) news at times. I did know about FAIR for over 20 years now. I don't agree/disagree with any news outlet all the time.

Again, the content that I find truthful, well defined and relavant, I post...Just like the study done by FAIR (the link I posted)

Benedawgg,
You're a big bs artist.

You come out of the wood work 2 weeks before
the election with all this lib crap.
It gets easily refuted / discredited and you do
what the other unpatriots do-refute, deny, dismiss.

You can't cite a web site (infloclearinghouse) that has within its main
body links with Mumia, Zionist, Revolution
and make people think you're some ultrapatriot.

FAIR is a left wing group. They say they are "progressive" themselves.
What does that mean?
If Columbia U, another
bunch of libs says theyre lib, thats not credible?

Now, the CMPA is a lot more credible.
Read what they say about news coverage bias.
http://www.cmpa.com/

They dont say they are progressive, but nonpartisan.
Ask Hillary!

The best way to find which way a particular "non-partisan" news outlet leans is to simply check its funding sources.

Can't you guys stop with the mudslinging? You lose credibility right from that point.

I suppose that you have more info on the war spending than Joseph Stiglitz, a former chairman of the Council of Economic Advisors and chief economist at the World Bank, teaches at Columbia University and Linda Bilmes teaches public finance at the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard?

A well researched document that I posted on another thread?

Dismiss!?! You are one of the primary folks gulity of that here. This gov't may want to think that it is royalty, but it is elected and therefore open to criticism. Oh yeah he was selected so he may have another view for that reason.

I am not responsible for the content of any website but my own. I post links from various websites not just one.

FAIR did not just "say" something about news coverage. They did a study. Again, something that is well informed and then presented.

I have been dropping some real science here. You have the right to agree/disagree. But you can't argue that the science is not well presented and informative.

The big difference here is that you presented a whole site and not a specific link. You denigrate the whole site and not attempt to critically review the content of the link that I posted.

I will review the whole site you posted. But I am not sure of what link you want me to critically review. If I thought like you have been presenting yourself here, I would consider myself prejudice.

You pre-judge a site, vice reviewing the link that is the subject. In my humble estimation that hinders learning.

of course you show your credibility and foster the belief you are an "independent" (which you claim to be) by spouting non-sensical leftist talking points such as:

Are you implying that there are (were) no issues with the 2000 Presidential race?
