Champions League Knockout Round is set

    Here's the draw:

FC Porto (Portugal) vs. Chelsea (England)
Celtic (Scotland) vs. AC Milan (Italy)
PSV Eindhoven (Netherlands) vs. Arsenal (England)
Lille (France) vs. Manchester United (England)
AS Roma (Italy) vs. Lyon (France)
FC Barcelona (Spain) vs. Liverpool (England)
Real Madrid (Spain) vs. Bayern Munich (Germany)
Inter Milan (Italy) vs. Valencia (Spain)
    * Home team listed first; first legs Feb. 20-21, second legs, March 6-7
Those are some GREAT knockout matches... namely Madrid and Munich, Barca and Liverpool, and MILAN vs. CELTIC.

Watch out Mick, we're coming for you.

As a Man United fan, I am really pleased with the draw. Lille is probably the weakest team we could have got, although they beat us in the league stage last year.

As Pauliec, has mentioned above, the two best ties of the round are Barcelona v. Liverpool and Celtic v. AC Milan.

I think Barcelona will be too good for Liverpool. The Celtic/AC Milan games will be great!!! There will be a fantastic atmosphere up in Glasgow for that game!! I could see Celtic winning in Glasgow, but I would fancy Milan to beat Celtic in the San Siro. Celtic cannont seem to win away from home.

great slate of matches...we got a tough draw in the first round, but it could clearly be worse...

FC Porto (Portugal) vs. Chelsea (England)
Celtic (Scotland) vs. AC Milan (Italy)
PSV Eindhoven (Netherlands) vs. Arsenal (England)
Lille (France) vs. Manchester United (England)
AS Roma (Italy) vs. Lyon (France)
FC Barcelona (Spain) vs. Liverpool (England)
Real Madrid (Spain) vs. Bayern Munich (Germany)
Inter Milan (Italy) vs. Valencia (Spain)

    (my picks in Italics)

The amount of time you have to wait to see the matches kills me, Feb 20th and Mar 6th. I can see the Celtic winning at home but losing in Italy, so it should be a fun match up. The world never gives the Celtic any credit so when we beat the big name teams it makes it that much nicer.

    hahaha

What's the deal with Milan this year, why do they suck so bad? I try to follow them as best as I can, but it's hard here in the states. What is the Italian press saying about them?

The press says that the defense is old and that in the last 5 years the managers didn't buy good players, they say also that the forwards aren't good .

    www.uefa.com

    www.gazzetta.it (just in italian)

http://www.milanonerazzurra.it/antimilan/ (in italian and is against Milan)

    thanks for the links

I don't know about changing teams, I have always loved Maldini and Gattuso... I love Rino's passion.
