Ronaldo's proposed move from Real Madrid to Milan hinges on the results of his medical.

The Brazilian attacker is flying to Italy to try and wrap up a return to the San Siro, where he performed with distinction for Internazionale.

A deal worth around 6 million (3.95 million) has been agreed but Milan chief Adriano Galliani has stressed that Ronaldo must be in tip-top physical condition to seal the move.

"We are sending a written offer to Real Madrid," Galliani told Sky Italia.

"We are currently negotiating and we are evaluating all factors.

"In any case, all decisions will depend on the results of his medical.

"I hope that he will be sitting next to me later this evening, but we will see."

Meanwhile, Internazionale supremo Massimo Moratti has admitted he is frustrated by Ronaldo's decision to return to the city.

    sounds good to me

This could be the spark that Milan needs to put together a decent season.

I hope Licurgo reads this and comments on it.

I just hope it gives them some kind of spark. They have been playing horribly between their less-than-great strikers and their terribly old defense.

looks like the Milan players are very excited to have him on the team:

Milan playmaker Kaka has spoken of his excitement at the prospect of being joined at the club by Brazil team-mate Ronaldo, who is on the brink of completing a transfer from Real Madrid.

Ronaldo was in Milan on Friday to undergo medical tests. Italian media reported the clubs were settled on a price between seven and seven-and-a-half million euros.

"When he was The Phenomenon, the number one in the world, I was just starting my career in Brazil," Kaka was quoted as saying on Milan's Web site (www.acmilan.com) on Friday.

"So for him to come to Milan now, for us to play for the same club, would be a dream come true."

Ronaldo has been angling to leave Real since team coach Fabio Capello criticised him as being overweight and told him he did not feature in his future plans.

Kaka said the three-times FIFA World Player of the Year could still be a key player for Milan.

"Ronaldo's greatest strength, in my opinion, is his ability to decide a match with one moment of brilliance," said the 24-year-old, who played alongside the striker at last year's World Cup in Germany.

"He can be decisive even without the kinds of runs he used to make."

Ronaldo was applauded by Milan's fans when he appeared in the stands at the San Siro to watch the team draw 2-2 with AS Roma in the Italian Cup on Thursday.

"He came to see us after the match. He seemed very happy," revealed Kaka.

"He has chosen Milan ahead of another, much richer offer. That means he still feels he has a lot to give in a league that really counts."

Milan captain Paolo Maldini joined in the praise of the 30-year-old striker.

"After Maradona, he is the strongest opponent I've ever faced," the defender said, recalling his former duels with Ronaldo, who played for Inter Milan between 1997 and 2002.

"He is still one of the best players in the world. If he arrives, we will make a big jump in quality."

Just the Milan players are excited to have him, the fans are doubtful.
I think he is a good player but not as he was wen he played at Inter-Milan, now he is too fat and the Italian defenders will kill him. He is the most large disappointment of my life, he is a traitor!

Ronaldo was called the Phenomenon wen he was at Inter-Milan, then he broke his knee twice and we helped him to come back, we waited for it for about 4 years and then he is gone to Real Madrid escaping from Milan by night.

Now he is traded to Milan

look here some video of the EXfenomeno, you will never see him like that at Milan
