I'm torn between a 5-Series BMW and the new 3-Series Cabriolet. Can anyone give an opinion of which car is preferable? I can afford a 6-Series, but would prefer not to go down that road as we're considering a third home (in Colorado for weekend skiing) and will likely need the funds towards that mortgage.

Also, I've never owned an M series and if I go with the convertible I really would rather not wait the extra year for the M. I know the M offers mink seat covers and 14k gold interior trim as an option; any idea if the 335i will? Are insurance rates higher by a substantial margin or just slightly?

    Thanks.

SAR, you just scream "new money". You don't belong here. Come back when you were born with a silver spoon in your mouth, you slob.

Seriously, there's a Late Night Crew Forum for those that want to discuss various topics at night.

This serves the same purpose for those of us that are older and have serious salaries.

    Please delete your post.

    Thank you.

Respectfully, I'm trying to be serious here. Let's not turn this into a joke.

I do not mean to insult you, but I have doubts that you make the minimum required to post in this forum. Can you post your W2?

I just bought a 2007 f-150 ford roush 4 door, leather interior and built in navigation system. The thing has more horsepower than some mustangs so if your looking for a vehicle for your family that has some serious balls go with that. The sticker price runs around 60,000 but i brought the guy down to 53

I would hardly consider $250K per year wealthy. Comfortable no doubt but far from wealthy. Maybe that's the standard in New Hampshire.

Seriously, a 5 series is the Ford Taurus of the 21st century. Poor SAR, he thinks he's rich.

I didn't say "fithy rich" nor did I say "average income". I believe that $250k is a good midpoint to seperate the two.
