With a running game next year and an offseason workout that isnt rehab, I say Chad is the answer and will eventually take us to a superbowl victory.
We still need to fix the Oline so Jones can be an effective runner, fix the Dline so Vilma doesn't get eaten by the lineman and he can stop the run, find someone to get pressure on the QB, which will help out our DBs, get a TE that can stretch the field and find someone to do kickoffs so the opponent doesn't start on the 35 every time. Chad could win if he was on the right team but this isn't the team yet.
Well there's a thread that Chad Pennington is not the solution; therefore, a thread that he is the solution is justified IMO.
Chad is a great play faker and with a good running game, he becomes a better QB. If Thomas Jones and Leon Washington become a one two running back solution then Chad will have a very good year and so will the Jets.
Our defense should be improved this year with draft picks predominantly defensive. A better defense gives the offense more time to get the job done. Better for the Jets.
The team has had a year with the new playbooks; this year the nuances in the playbook will be executed and make offense more potent with Chad calling the no huddle.
