Northern Ireland and The Republic of Ireland need to combine already. In more ways then one actually.

I hear you on that one.

I would like to see Ireland win it but I don't think it is going to happen.

I really don't get why Ireland is so bad lately. The individual players like Shay Given and Robbie Keane are top class but they just can't seem to ever be a team.

The overall talent level has dropped over the past few years.
Having a manager who's not even League of Ireland class doesn't help either.

Looks like England is continuing their suckfest with a 0-0 draw with Israel. If England fails to qualify for Euro2008 I'm going to laugh my balls off.

Croatia continues to dominate Group E. And if Germany had not beaten San Marino 13 - 0 or something equally ridiculous, Croatia would be the top scoring team thus far

Darijo Srna is the effing man!

Are you from Ireland or Northern Ireland?

Also, don't they hate each other?

I'm an Irish Catholic from Belfast, Northern Ireland. Belfast is the capital of the North of Ireland.

The majority of people living in Northern Ireland are Nationalists, who are predominantly Catholic, and Unionists, who are predominantly Protestant. So that is who hate each other. What I want as a Catholic is for Northern Ireland to be united with the The Republic of Ireland. And then be referred to as "United Ireland"... This is the way it was until the British stepped foot in our country. This would also mean the both soccer clubs would merge together.. which should be the case now...

BTW I am NOT British...If that is on your mind.

Ireland has always been one country there are just a few people that are confused.

Group D is tough I'm not sure if Ireland is going to be able to make it out of it and when did Israel learn how to play so well?

So it's the Irish that hate the British. Don't the Scots hate the British, too?
