i worry about the braves but feel better with the news of hampton missing the year.......and btw they are ted turners team, not Americas team.
They can have Hampton. I was at this past weekend's series and not because I'm a Met fan, but I think the Braves will fizzle out. They played the hardest they've played now in almost 2 years and squeaked out a win on Sunday. But, the Braves are suppose to take 2 outta 3 at home so no big deal.
I think the wake-up call will be the idea that many think they will actually have a comfortable lead over the Mets come August.........man are they in for it.
I've hated the Braves since I moved to Atlanta. I can't help it. The fans are terrible by not selling out playoff and World Series games. How do I put this......? They're fans make the experience at a beautiful ballpark such a "queer" experience. First it was Sheffield's "Chefs," LaRoche's "Roaches," now it's Francouer's "franks," McCann's "Cans," and Andruw's "Brew Crew," all in the outfield bleachers and stands. It's childish. They have a 3rd baseman named "Chipper" who is grown man, by the way. They just make so cheesy and wrong for such a weak fanbase to root for what has been a good team over the last 14 years.
Besides, the fans and players arrogance..........man do I hate the Braves.
