    Yankees @ Rangers (5/1-5/3)

Thank god April is over. Time to start of May on the right foot and hopefully turn it around. Like the "Boss" said... LET'S GET GOING!

Here is tonights line up vs the Texas Rangers. Anyone else sick of all these nagging injuries Damon gets? Either put him on the DL or play him.

This will also be the 2nd MLB start for Phil Hughes. I expect a great outing out of him. Nerves should be all alway.

Yankees finally getting some timely hitting from everyone.

    6-0 Yankees

Also I know it's only the 4th inning but Phil Hughes is downright looking nasty at times. Working quick and throwing strikes.

After 6... Phil Hughes is THE MAN!

He is barely breaking a sweat. Teixiera was lost in the first inning.

This game goes to show that good pitching makes the entire team better.

To state the obvious, it's so much easier to hit with a lead.

Phil Hughes had a no-no going in the 7th inning and suddenly he pulls his hamstring, or so it looks... so the Yankees take him out.

Let's just say that the Rangers haven't hit safely so far in this game, but Phil Hughes appears to have tweaked his hamstring and had to be pulled from the game.

Not really. Probably just tweaked it, but the Yankees made the right move here.
