it is pretty close value, my question is what do you have at 3B if you trade A-rod and who do you currently have at Shortstop. Escobar is a nice pitcher, a bit injury prone, but he's a good ERA guy and a decent K rate. I have a feeling Vernon Wells well improve, though Matt Holliday is a nice player. Unless you have a bum at Shortstop, i'd be leery of trading A-rod. Even though he's slowed down a little, he's still hitting about .350, still leading the league in HRs and RBIs.

Decision: Without seeing the rest of your roster, I can't make a definite decision. On pure value, it's relatively close, though I think you are the side giving up more. I would think twice about agreeing to this trade.

In fantasy baseball, I always hate to be the one getting the extra player...I'd have to see the rest of your roster, but factor in that you will have to drop an extra player to make room...

Just looking at the trade quickly, I'd say REJECT
