and thats only on the Spanish channel!! (fox soccer channel does not get rated)

I hate articles like this. espescially because the d-bag I work with is always saying how hockey sucks and noone watches it and bla bla bla. This article just gave him ammo to talk trash again today.

I don't disagree that hockey is falling off and doesnt have a large audience. But the people that DO watch it have a love of hockey and could care less if other people don't like it.

and why is it a non-sport??? because you don't understand it and can't follow the puck?

because there is more contact in hockey than in any other sport?

because they are constantly moving and don't have a second to rest whilst on the ice?

    please elaborate, ****.

Im sorry for your pain. To be fair, i do like hockey sometimes. I like going to my college's games in person, but the pro stuff on tv isnt really my thing.

Just have her shove a puck up there. That should do the trick.

I'm with Goots on this one. Its tough being a hockey fan and I hear it all the time how people think its stupid or not a sport or whatever. I didn't mean to be a dick, but I have been hearing **** all day from the d-bag I work with and decided to take it out on you.

    Hockey>NFL in person

Im also a big hockey fan who is sick of hearing people talk smack about it. I think most people realize that its more enjoyable to see it in person. Problem is, tickets are considered to damn expensive for anyone who isnt a big fan.

    WHO THE **** CARES?

Does this mean Im going to stop watching the NHL? No. I couldnt care if Mens swimming beat it, I enjoy it. And nothing is going to change that.

And EVERYONE already knew that soccer has more fans. More fans than any sport. So why is this a suprise? Not to me it isn't. So trying to put this in our faces isn't working.

ahhhhhh Ive been to over 20 Jets games including playoffs. I cant say that 100% nothing comes close for me than being at that stadium doing a JETS chant with close to 80,000 people. But as for electricity? Go to a Rangers game during a weeknight, doesn't matter......18,000 people are there every night.

    Football
Hockey thats it for me as for seeing live.
