bush might be doing it for religious reasons,
or because he has sympathies for mexicans
for any number of reasons personal, practical, business-
nevertheless he and rove, snow, etc are still way wrong

a national bill can pass without texas' support,
no mater how poed they get;

why is "land grabbing" for a nafta superhighway
located in america, to benefit americans,
any better, or worse than eminent domain grabs
in new london ct, or oakland, ca;

already toldja about the part about mexico needing to
help their own bad selfs -after being in opec and a sovereign
nation for 150 yrs or so, with us as an example next door
youdve think theyve had
made progress by now-
you dont see canadians sneaking in here like that
Corruption in the Mexican government, perhaps?

The worst part is the Mexican Government openly admits that their country's greatest source of income is remittances from Mexican workers in the U.S., all while they (the govt.) make minimal investment in services like education and infrastructure. Why would these guys want us to stop the flow of illegals coming in?
I don't know if this was a good bill but something needs to be done.

The problem is it no longer pays for congress to compromise on any issue.

And that is what is wrong with our government today, it is all or nothing.
If the laws we already have in place were enforced, nothing else would need to be done.

Its not any better. No way.

Taking private property from one individual to sell to another private company goes against everything that freedom supposedly stands for. The free market dictates how much private property is worth...if a developer cannot afford to pay fair market price, they should not lean on the govt and activist judges to get the land at a cheaper price that allows them to expand their profit margin at the expense of a private landowner.

Do people own property in this country...or are they, in effect, renting it until the govt deems it more important to make a fat cat fatter?
