Very surprised at Ware and Hamilton. Jets may have something in the works at those positions.

Ware should make the PS though.

    Mike Devito makes the team!

Ware getting cut is a good sign Jones is ready to play.
looks like tui made it and all the TEs
I thought Brad Smith would steal Tui's roster spot. Guess he's not ready right now. Look for the Jets to continue to see if they can save a roster spot by making Brad Smith the 3rd string quarterback........
Very surprised Ware was cut. Who is our 3rd back?
Probably Stacy Tutt right now. He did OK in Game 4. But I suspect someone else will be brought in to compete, and Ware will end up on the PS.

    Stacy Tutt

If there's one cut I disagree with, it's Ware. How could they cut this guy? No special teams value? Versatility? I understand that Tutt plays more than one position, but it's also fairly obvious that Ware is a better pure runner, no?

Hopefully before Schlegels name shows up on a CFL roster the people behind that pick will finally man up and admit it was a horrendous blunder of a pick.

The one name that immediately comes to mind is Ciatrick Fason...

..... so.... we're going in with 4 TE's, Baker, Ryan, Koweleski, and Posciak..... 5 if you count Dearth..... this makes NO sense what so ever.

Definitely some more moves to come, IMO. We have 4 TEs on the roster (5 if you count Dearth)....someone will get moved on in the next few days. Jets also kept 6 CBs, so a move could still happen there. I'd expect us to maybe add another DE (only Hicks and Devito in reserve just now) and someone else on the O-Line (only Jones, Smith and Clarke in reserve) and possibly a #3 RB to compete with Tutt.

We are also keeping DeVitto - is it sign of more then occasional 4-3 to come?
... or Lundy
Eh. Lundy never really impressed me. It's always bothered me how Minny took a really talented back like Fason and then never used him. I don't think the kid has gotten a fair shake. Lundy, on the other hand, was given the starting job and couldn't hold on. Granted, it was on a horrible Texans squad, but he was a starter. Always thought Fason would be the next coming of Edgerrin James. Funny how the draft works out...

Who the hell is going to come off the bench at DE? The Jets cut Kimo, Hamilton AND Haynes. Not a whole lot of guys left there.
