What team would you expect to sign Moses but the Cardinals?

Nice job by the Jets passing twice on him.

Moses could have been available in the 7th round, and the Jets still would have taken Stuckey over him. The Jets have no interest in players with a questionable desire for the game, something Quentin Moses clearly possesses if you read any scouting report on him. You can argue that sometimes, the potential reward (talent) outweighs the risk (taking on a player who doesn't really like playing football), but that's not the Jets philosophy.

That's true - Moses has been criticized for his lack of desire for most of the last year. So maybe it's not so surprising that we didn't go after him. Mangini is trying to build something here and I respect that.

But Boothe - he was a Cornell graduate for God's sake. He's obviously smart and has 14 games of starting experience where, by all accounts, he did well. Doesn't that merit some interest?

Other teams are signing guys left and right. We've got a crucial need for an OL. Get it done Tanny!
