Is Herm better than Eric Mangini?

Folks, lets face it......alot of fans here (NOT ME) ran Herm out of town and blamed him for everything wrong with the Jets and the world for that matter (including Sept 11, 2001). At the end of the day we are NOT a better team since he has left. He has a poor talented team in the AFC West lead, and we are 1-6 and are light years away from competing against the Patsies for the title.

I was always a Herm supporter and still am. Is he indeed a better coach than Mangini. (poll coming)

Herm> Kotite> Mangini. We are going 1-16 this season, Miami beats the Jets the second time around. This team is completely lost. Mangini has lost this team. He cannot make adjustments at halftime. Is there anything Mangini can do well?

don't take herm away as a scapegoat for all of the jets' woes. that's the one constant we've had.

Its a tie. Neither is very good. I think Herm would not have done as well last season with the Jets team. 8-8ish, but they would have been better this season than Manginis team. Given Herms track record the Jets would probably be at 3 wins right now beating Miami, Philadelphia, and Cincinnati. So Ill call it a tie.

Herm is not a terrible coach. Just very, very conservative, talks a bit too much, and the way he left town was low class for a guy who preaches high character.

If I had to take one or the other, I take Herm. No hesitation.

But I prefer neither. I want Cower in 2008.
