So let's ignore the problem and pretend we care? This accident happend a year before Spitzer was in office and now since he wants to actually try something different it is outrageous?

How about going after the employers of illegals? No one wants that because that will hurt the bottom line.

I am glad you actually think if they had licenses it would be totally different than now. I guess documenting who is actually here and then processing them(meaning the license will not be the same as a U.S. citizen's license) it would be horrible.

Keep your head in the sand. You are just afraid they would be able to vote and that doesn't help your party, if it did you wouldn't care at all.
head in the sand? why, yours is firmly up your a$$!

employers of illegals should be fined heavily-dont employ em or use em or
work with em so they can all leave asap

all people in this country illegally if not incarcerated
should be deported
(no problem, we deport 'em by the sackful today)

anchor babies should be illegal, non-americans,
and never, ever be a means to american citizenship

anyone who is not a citizen, or doesnt have a green card should ever be able to drive, vote, work, or otherwise leech any benefits out of this country
like a remorseless, gravy sucking pig from legal, American taxpayers

especially if the victim party (aka democrat) wants to register them

i'm for fairness - come in fairly, work honestly, pay income and property taxes and insurance like normal responsible people do, theres already enough dysfunctional americans who drain govt coffers dry.

my father in laws home health aide
became a citizen last week - waited 14 years - did it by the book - had a green card - 150 other like her became genuine citizens, why can't all the
other human leeches do the same

its scary how many terror sympathising, moral relativist, globalist
libs work for our government
not on behalf of americans but for the ROW

what rights do american visitors/transients/etc have in other nations

thats right, its equal to what you know - not much

lets see how much of a laugh riot you have if some illegal sob
smashes into and totals your vehicle

Rudy Giuliani has taken dumps that are more electable than Joe Biden. Joe Biden should be thanking God his repeated racist remarks are magically ignored by the gliteratti media and focus on figuring out why he gets his ass whipped in the primaries every time before he even gets close to getting a whiff of the presidency.

What has your Party done about all of these issues the last seven years?

The status quo, Ashcroft was more worried about porn than homeland security.
Then you appoint an AG whose Grandparents were illegals. Then you want to appoint Bernie (Felon) as the Homeland chief.

And you wonder why there is an immigration problem.

Why aren't employers being fined? The GOP had control of both houses and the WH for 6 years, why didn't they do something?

Thanks for your classless ending.

Now go take your meds.

And Guiliani should be thanking God the lame a$$ media hasent asked him the tough question regarding the screw ups he made re 9/11? Like why he refused to listen to his advisers and put the cities emergency controll center in Brooklyn instead of the WTC, the site where terrorists already attacked the city?
Fox host butts heads with Giuliani over emergency command center location

Raw Story | May 14, 2007

On this morning's edition of Fox News Sunday, host Chris Wallace grilled presidential candidate and former New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani on his decision to put the emergency response command center in the World Trade Center in 1997, despite suggestions from advisers that it should be located elsewhere.

"Your director of emergency management suggested, recommended, that you not put it [in the World Trade Center] because it had been a target in 1993. Why did you do that?" asked Wallace.

"My director of emergency management recommended 7 World Trade Center," replied Giuliani.

Onetime Giuliani Insider Is Now a Critic
The New York Times

By RUSS BUETTNER
Published: May 22, 2007

As Rudolph W. Giuliani runs for president, his image as a chief executive who steered New York through the disaster of Sept. 11 has become a pillar of his campaign. But one former member of his inner circle keeps surfacing to revisit that history in ways that are unflattering to Mr. Giuliani: Jerome M. Hauer, New York City’s first emergency management director.

In recent days, Mr. Hauer has challenged Mr. Giuliani’s recollection that he had little role as mayor in placing the city’s emergency command center at the ill-fated World Trade Center.
That's FOX News and The New York Times -- both ends of the spectrum. Apparently the tires were bald on the story, but there's enough here to prove you wrong yet again.

Now tell me, how much of a distant memory would Giuliani be if he said something like "you have to have an Indian accent to walk into a 7-Eleven or a Dunkin Donuts in that town" ? You simply can't be serious trying to argue that the media doesn't have a giant broom for sweeping democratic bs like that under the rug.

Thats rich, a lib blaming our immigration problem on the GOP when
its the libs constantly shoving DREAM act, amnesty, benefits for illegals
down everyones throats since January like its job #1.

Never mind the economy, war on terror, etc, coddling illegals
for Democratic party votes is our highest priority!

My party? every time my party tries to do something drastic about
immmigration theres dem-o-gogues blocking any move to do so!

Well theres Mccain but hes been brainwashed by commies so I dont take
him seriously

Illegals who are predominantly illiterate and unskilled (95%), loaded
with diseases once eradicated (TB) and only good for sales taxes on cokes and smokes are draining govt resources
faster, and more exponentially than they can ever hope to replenish them.

And you cry about your property taxes. Three guesses about who you are subsidising...your local ruling elites treat you like the all-day sucker you are

Now, back to your prayer rug and hash-filled hookah

Your party? Your party sucks second only to how much the democrat party sucks.

Bush/Kennedy amnesty bill...
Bush called it “a much-needed solution to the problem of illegal immigration in this country” and said, if approved, the proposal “delivers an immigration system that is secure, productive, orderly and fair.”
So there you have it. Everything is the democrats fault. Cant you see it?

Prove me wrong????
You proved me right. Read the story from Fox. When Guilani responded ""My director of emergency management recommended 7 World Trade Center"...there was no follow up question. This is the definition of poor journalism. They accepted this as the truth (which it was not)at face value. Why not respond..."your entire advisery board told you this was a bad idea, why did you decideto go against them and why did youthink putting it in WTC7 was a good idea even though the WTC had just been a target ?

Also where are the questions about his handling of the Ground Zero air quality...another area he messed up.
Or the questions of him being a self claimed "expert on islamic trrorism" ??He claims this at every news appearance yet no one questions this??
Or his direct role in the communications breakdowns during 9/11??

Never heard anyone go after him on these very legitimate issues??

But hey, Thanks for proving my point

when the president of the US changes,
its like the jets, are all the players manginis?
are all the govt employees bush loyalists?
of course not-govt is chock full o' libtards

liberal mantras:
if something didnt happen before i were born, it never happened until
bush was president. and of course its bad.

if he doesnt clamp down, hes incompetent.
if he does, hes hitler jr. who hates people of color.

our illegal immigration problem grew during the liberal 60s & 70s.
Liberal government, liberal INS personnel/commissioners & liberal federal judges insured enforcement efforts by the 1990s were a fraction of those taken in the 1950s
you have people like Doris Meissner to thank-look her up

heres a memo from the DOJ at the tail end of Clintons reign of
error. It calls ALL anti-illegal immigration groups, kooks or not, threats.

http://americanpatrol.com/BorderWar/DOJATTACK/DOJAttack01-001116.html

Reagans amnesty, IRCA, was to be the last,
yet Clinton shoehorned these in as well- look em up

Section 245(i)-1994
Section 245(i) Extension-1997
NACARA-1997
HRIFA-1998
Late Amnesty-2000
LIFE Act Amnesty-2000

all dropped in bushs lap

no amnesty bill has passed since 2000

very true, bush is horrible on illegals amnesty.
i could care less why or how (religious sympathies,
support for agri-business)
he couldnt move on this issue, so great news for all

congress, who is not gw bush, somehow keeps authoring bills to subvert legal immigration yet somehow they never get to Bush to sign.

their main sponsor in the Senate is Harry Reid
Reid is a Democrat
why is a democrat or any congressman or woman trying to subvert legal immigration in the first place?

Thanks for the transcript. Again, nothing but softballs and failure to challenge Guiliani. His excuses are nothing but a joke. Again where are the questions surrounding his handling of the Ground Zero air quality, or questioning him re his claims of being an "expert on islamic trrorismOr his direct role in the communications breakdowns during 9/11??

As for Trent Lott, last i checked he still has a job. No one fired him or removed him from his leadership position in the senate...he chose to resign. I suppose if his CONSERVATIVE colleagues stood by him and supported him instead of distancing themselves from him he may have stayed on
