I'm not a Hillary fan, and there's no way I'm going to vote for her, but honestly:

    7) How many of those quotes were taken out of context?

  4. #4
But here's the thing. If someone did not believe those things, there is no context in whic hthey would say most of them.

Hillary's vision of Anerica is that of a giant socialist state with the gov't the head of all. Now she is obviously very bright, so she knows that if she were to try to gain power on such a platform, she would fail miserably. So she paints over her exterior so you won't recognize her, so to speak. But make no mistake about it, her insides are what they have always been. From her bvook It Tkaes A Village (and not a family to raise children) to her criminal defense of Black Panther kidnappers and murderers pro bono to White Water to the FBI files she hid for years, what she stands for is antitraditional American.

Since when has THAT mattered, especially to Democrats? See the Rush Limbaugh "Phoney Soldiers" flap for all the proof one could ever need on that score.

I mean after all, the word "Macaca" ended a Republican Career.

At this particular time, we as a Nation, won't see a woman President. We are at WAR with the Middle East, who's views of women are that they are "weak". If a woman were to become President of the United States of America, our enemies would view us as a "weak nation" and the amount of terrorist acts upon Americans would signifigantly rise IMO. It would definitely be viewed as a sign of weakness and we would all be much more endangered than we could ever imagine.

    * I wouldn't personally vote for Hillary in my lifetime anyway.

Hold on a sec, CBTNY will respond with something better and then you agree with him. No reason to change the format.
If Hillary is the Democratic Nominee. they are in deep trouble! She is unelectable PERIOD!
this is probably true, but if it isn't it will only be because Bush has been so brutally bad. I agree that a Hillary nomination gives the GOP the best chance to steal the election but the bottom line is almost anyone the democrats nominate will walk all over the GOP candidate.

this is not bias, this is pure numbers. based on the 06 results, the left will have a motivated voting base, the right has basically 30% of the nation entrenched. latest polls say 68% of Americans disapprove of the war. Bush's current approval rating is the worst since nixon 1 week prior to resignation.

in that atmosphere, anyone, even Hillary has a pretty good shot of winning.

throw in the relatively weak GOP field and the outcome isn't really in doubt.
