Doesn't matter. He's not winning the Republican primary. The neo-cons and religious nuts won't vote for him.

Hes probably not winning but this is the first step to political progress. Most of his base is young and he is demolishing the internet demographic. Those people will only get older and have more money and influence going forward. Every dollar he raises gives him more of a chance to send out his message and attract future voters whether its in this election or the next one.

    i believe crayon is acceptable

no genius/science is necessary to rig an internet poll...
    remove browser cookies and voila'
    vote multiple times
you'll feel like a cook county democrat

fundraising for ron paul has all the fun, glamour
and effectiveness of trick or treating for unicef

you feel good, and powerful when that loose change
and lint rattles around in the box

then you realize thats all you got/are....loose change

Will that money land 3.25% of the Republican vote? Doesn't look like it.

Well, his support is growing every day - so it's silly to marginalize him at this point, although he won't win. I've already addressed this though in this thread, read up.

This feels like Ross Perot all over again.

Maybe I am jaded, but I'll continue to take a "Believe it when I see it" attitude towards Doc Paul. When I see him win a primary, then maybe I'll believe all the hype (and really, no one has more hype than Paul, to make up for his horrid polling).

And frankly, while I want to see the Iraq War "ended" in terms of US Occupation as it is today, what I've heard from Paul doesn;t really sound horribly realistic. Of course, I may just be getting soundbites, rather than his real policy, but what I have heard seems to boil down to "get out now, no matter what, full withdrawal and let the chips fall where they may". If thats really his position, uh....yea, no thanks.

The Good Doctor is in it to WIN IT!!!

I will be re-registering as a Republican so I can vote in the NJ primary on 2/5... first time in my life I will be registered with a party and only the 2nd time I will have voted for a Dem/GOPer in a Presidential race (primary & GE combined)

At the cost of 2 billion dollars a week...I could really care less of where those chips fall. You know, because our currant strategy is MUCH MUCH better. Throw almost a trillion dollars up in the air, let the Iraqis plunder American taxpayer dollars and then...pfffffft! Who cares where it all ended up. right?

    Electabillity.

The rest is meaningless tripe if he gets 2% of any given Vote in the Election, right? He could be Ghandi crossbred with Einstein, if he gets 2% of the vote, all that jibberjabber and fundraising don't mean ****e.

I mean, the point of all this IS to get elected right? Not to just be the "Dark Horse Guy all the Liberals and Anti-War and Altternative and Fringe Republicans like", right?
