Andrew Miller is a VERY highly touted prospect who I think even made some late season starts last year.

    Detroit's lineup is now Yankee-esqu. Scary .....

Ozzie Guillen has been on record saying Cabrera has slimmed down heavily and is getting stronger. They say he looks like a different player. I believe it considering Guillen was the one who called him out on it. Cabrera is 24 and a stud, let's see how he does in the A.L.

Officials of two clubs that have been in contact with the Mets used the same expression -- "in trouble" -- to describe their efforts to deal for a starting pitcher. It's believed they haven't talked to either the A's (about Dan Haren) or Orioles (about Erik Bedard) since they arrived in Nashville. And there are indications that they aren't as interested in free agents Livan Hernandez or Carlos Silva as they've been portrayed to be, either

    Granderson
    Renteria
    Cabrera
    Sheffield
    Ordonez

is a nasty front 5, not to mention if Thames figures out how to be consistent...add in Inge, Irod, Jones, Polonco all solid players.

    and the rotation!!!

as of this moment....its a tossup between tigers and red sox for the best team in the league. yankees are probably 4th/maybe 5th behind indians and angels.

No question with the addition of Cabrera the Detroit offense will be very, very dangerous. I don't see the rotation benefitting from Willis much though. The transition to the AL will not bode well for him IMHO.

As of right now the Red Sox still have a team taht only had a 2 game lead over the yankees and lost the regular season series.

Thats the exact reason i didnt want Dontrelle. Maybe he will work out in Detroit but i could not see him doing well in New York.

Yea he doesn't seem like he could handle the spotlight of New York.
NL to AL + Florida to New York = DISASTER
