    Jonathan Papelbon is a PUNK!

    http://www.northjersey.com/sports/ya...g_Red_Sox.html

A less filtered sentiment came from closer Jonathan Papelbon, who, when asked to assess the Yankees ' chances, said, "Dude, I don't even know who's on their roster this year

Perhaps we should remind young Jonathan of who is on the Yankees roster.

    He is a punk

His act on the mound is about as phony as can be, and I laughed my ass off at the clown jig dancing on the field and during the parade last year.

Papelbon is a moron. I'm going to take a guy who dances in his underwear seriously?

Hey Jon - Don't know who's on the roster? Check back in a few years in Cooperstown, stupid. Because there's a few names on this roster that will be there, and yours won't. Tool.

Comments like these are going to make it all the more sweeter when the Yankees win the AL East once again. It is already going to be sweet because we are now thought of as the underdogs, but this will make it all the better.

I care what Papelbon says. yawn. When he closes a game vs the Yankees in a big spot, it'll be his first.

I saw him on Letterman after the series. He really is a dope.

He also has a butthole for a mouth when he tries to make his "scary face".

    LOL

He looks like the marshmellow man in ghostbusters. The clown says he practices it in front of the mirror trying to be like Mariano. haha.

Another nominee for dumbest baseball post of all time.

Congratulations on bumping "Rey Ordonez is better than Derek Jeter" from the Top Ten.

I'm interested in how you would have acted if you were 26 and had just struck out the final batter of the WORLD SERIES! He had pitched a hell of a post-season, and he deserves all the accolades he gets. I can understand the "professionalism" argument, but I bet you would have loved to see Joba dancing in Colorado rather than swatting flies in Cleveland.

Best closer in the AL East. Nice to see that his 2 rings in the last 3 seasons have him past the point of being concerned about the Yanks roster.

    He better be concerned.

He has blown 2 saves in 4 opportunities.

Yeah but he's on the team with 2 of the last 3 rings. I think if Yanks find a way to get out of the divisional round then he may have cause for concern.

He's the best in the division as Beckett is SP wise.
    We both know it.

Why is it that the Red Sox can talk about there rings when we talk about stats/rankings/ect but the Yankees can't?

Different Yankee team won those rings. This team needs to get out of the divisional round at 200 mill before you can revert back to history lessons.

2004 Red Sox are a different team that the 2007 Red Sox...

Which reminds me. Papelb*tch wasn't on the 2004 team. Keith Foulke was the closer.
