I'm done in the baseball forum until March 31st. Too much.Duaner Sanchez isn't available to pitch in games due to soreness in his surgically repaired right shoulder.
Manager Willie Randolph said he's limited to long-tossing and that there's no timetable for his return. It appears likely that he'll begin the year on the DL, possibly opening the door for Rule-5 pick Steven Register to make the team.

This is what the Journal News blog that it linked to had to say.
ON DUANER SANCHEZ: He’s long tossing with no timetable for his return. The party line is soreness from not having pitched for a year-and-a-half and not a new injury.
No mention of a DL Stint, No New Injury. So in other words its taking him longer then the normal 24-48 hours to recover, that's all, which seems pretty normal considering that he hasn't played in a year and a half.
Maybe their assumptions will end up being true, but they're basing it on nothing.
He pitched a scoreless inning today
I honestly don't know of this guy can last the year, especially with Willie's of the bullpen.
