    Santana is a pretty safe bet.

    Well it depends if they open up at Shea with Santana, which I think they will. If that happens and the rotation is Johan, Pedro, Maine then it will be Maine pitching on the 10th. However, if they go with a 4 man rotation to start it off and Pedro opens at Shea then it looks like Perez will pitch.

    I would put my money on Maine starting.

    How can they open at Shea will Santana? You would have to go with a 6 man rotation. Either Perez or Pedro will start the home opener and that is more likely to be Perez. 4 man rotation until April 19th is the wise move.

    I thought they were goin w/ a 4 man rotation. So i was thinking;
    santana, pedro, ollie, maine
    so
    first 4 games
    then
    the next four and I go to the 9nth game
    So hopefully Santana. lol
    and itll be the deciding game of the phillies series.
    Praying we dont get blown out. j/k and the 1st Met no-hitter.

    Well even though I screwed up my method of getting there it looks like I came out with the right answer. Metsblog has the rotations up and Pedro should open at home followed by Perez and then Maine. Looks like Maine is your man...should be a good game.

    IMO they are making a mistake if they use a 5 man rotation to start the year. Not only do we not have a 5th starter right now, but I want Santana vs Philly.

    Every Met fan wants to see that. Oh well we just have to school them with our B squad.
