Todd Pratt hitting the NLDS Winning Home Run vs. Arizona

Robin Ventura's Grand Single vs. the Braves

The Rose-Harrelson fight in the 1973 NLCS,
Dykstra HR in Game 3 NLCS 1986,
Pete Rose breaking NL hit streak record in 1978- was a big deal back then, actually got a lowsy Met team airtime on Monday Night Baseball on ABC.

quite possibly the best play in baseball history (being in the 7th game of the nlcs all tied up) and only a team like the mets could make it a bad memory for its fans

that catch shouldnt even be on the highlight video for shea, what a bad memory for Met fans

i was in shea that night, i was actually at every home playoff game that season. When endy made the catch and then turned the double play, i texted my brother and he booked plane tickets to detroit. In my mind (and im sure most other met fans) that play represented destiny. That was it in my mind, there was no way we werent goin to detroit....the rest is history

moral of the story....the mets could f**k up a wet dream
