    WOW WHAT A GAME!!!

That's the way to begin a season in a new ballpark. Walk off home run. Nationals win 3-2.

    Good game.

But how many times did Jon Miller mention that it was a "happy ending" for the Nationals?

I think Jon has other things on his mind.

Great Game, great first win, great walk-off-homer by our boy Zimmerman.

Not a bad way to open a park. And it looks like a great place, looking forward to seeing a few games there this year.

    That stadium looks awesome.

Taking my daughter this summer on the DC trip.

Got to make sure the Nats are in town.

i really do not understand MLB's scheduling tactics. first, they make the red sox go on a 3- week world tour, playing exhibition games in another country, regular season games in another country, some more exhibition games(in a really cool but amazingly old football stadium), and then back to the regular season games in our country before going to yet another country for regular season games before making it back to fenway to get the rings.
now, they have the nationals and braves play a one-game series tonight, then both teams fly out tonight and go on the road yet again.

why does MLB suck so much at scheduling?

DC is awsome. Lots of stuff to do around there. The Smithsonian museums were by far the most entertaining places there. I recommend the Air and Space Museum.

That's exactly what we are doing.

Hey Fish, you got two extra rooms?

It's too bad the stadium is in Anacostia (the Baghdad of the United States) because it does look beautiful and has awesome views. I live in DC but I didn't want to pay for the price of tickets tonight as they will drop drastically for future games (5 bucks gets you in - there aren't many real baseball fans down here) but I'll be going to the Mets games so that'll be fun. Only thing that sucks is that I had Yunel Escobar in my fantasy roster tonight and he went 0/4 with a walk.

DC is such an awesome city to be a tourist. I can never get enough of the Air & Space Museum, the National Archives, all the monuments, etc. I haven't been there in such a long time, though. Last time I was there with my family I convinced my parents to wait in line outside the White House for 3 hours to take the tour. You only get to see like 4 or 5 rooms, but it was still awesome.

The answer is simple - Bonus Miles. Now Selig can fly on his vacations for free.
