It's a very interesting lineup 1-5, with Niese on the mound. Binghamton and St. Lucie (Brant Rustich, Dylan Owen, Dillon Gee, Nick Carr, Stephen Clyne, Will Morgan, Eric Niesen, Ruben Tejada, Lucas Duda, Hector Pellot, Ezequiel Carrera, Brahiam Maldonado, and El Duque for the time being.) really have what should be fun teams to watch this year.

Jonathan Niese dominating the Thunder so far.

    5 ip, 5 ks, 1 bb, 1 hit, 0 R

FB was pumping at 91-95 and his curve ball was great.

Uhh he struck out Tabata with a 94 mph FB and he made him swing and miss with a 95 MPH FB.

Maybe his arm was just very strong tonight. Very good outing for him.

Fernando Martinez hit a double in the 8th and was driven in by Emmanuel Garcia, that was the game winning run. Kunz pitched another 1 2 3 9th for the save.

St.Lucie's offense has really struggled. It's supposed to be a power house with Carrerra, Tejada, Maldonaldo, Duda, Pellot, Pena(off to a hot start) but they haven't really produced until today 6-5 loss.

Pena is in Savannah....and while their offense is underperforming it's only been 5 games man. On an aside though, the pitching should be pretty fun to watch between Owen, Gee, Niesen, Rustich, Carr, Clyne and the various guys on the DL Rehabs like Sanchez and El Duque.

    Maldonado- 1/4
    Carrerra- 1/4 (triple)

Some ugly pitching lines, but I love this Murphy, Carp, Evans competition they have going on. It seems like it's bringing out the best in all of them.
