    Rick Roll the Mets!

I don't care, this would be hilarious.

The Mets are holding a poll for an 8th Inning sing-a-long song (After taking so much crap after playing Sweet Caroline last year). So websites like Fark and Digg are running a campaign to get the Mets fans Rick Rolled.

Hahaha my vote's in. If nothing else, it will at least give the Marketing guys down at Shea a couple of laughs when they see a few hundred/thousand Rick Roll suggestions.

Instead of declaring Astley the winner, the team will hold a live, run-off vote.

Tomorrow, during the eighth inning, they’ll play Never Gonna Give You Up, followed by Living on a Prayer on Wednesday, I’m a Believer on Thursday, Movin’ Out on Friday, Sweet Caroline on Saturday and Build Me Up Buttercup on Sunday.

    That sucks man.

Shea needs to man up and play the song. Luckily, Astley's day is Opening Day so it's all but likely that it'll win.

I gotta give props to the Mets organization for letting this happen. They know its a joke and they're playing along but I still dont know what the heck the big deal with Rick Astley is. I assume it has something to do with the song being feminine.

Wow amazing.....Rick Astley performing at the NLCS in a Johan jersey would be money.
