Mets visit Phillies | Santana vs. Hamels, O.O

    Fri- Santana vs. Hamels - CW11, 7:05
Sat- Perez vs. Moyer - FOX, 3:55
Sun- Pelfrey vs Eaton - ESPN, 8:00

Great matchup tonight but.... won't be able to see the entire game, going to a friend's party and shouldn't have promised to be there.

    LGM!! Take 2 of 3.

After last night, this is one of those games where Santana is going to earn his money. We really need 7 innings from him, perhaps 8. It should help that Rollins isn't playing tonight and Victorino is on the DL.

It was a good game, but one you really have to be a diehard baseball game to enjoy. Lots of long at-bats, working deep into counts, and a lot of timely good pitching when necessary.

Heilman came up huge, after taking so much **** from Mets fans. He really deserved a standing ovation next time he comes out for saving that game.

Wagner is completely filthy right now, one baserunner all season? I remember when he couldn't get a save without making it interesting.

Well considering the fact that Eaton owns the Mets souls, this one is pretty much over

Have to tip your cap to Utley on that home run, It was a good pitch, the ball was tailing away from him, and he still turned on it.

When he first came up, he used to stick his tongue out during every pitch. He claims the mouthpiece helps him relax, so hey, whatever works.

That was awesome. I've never seen a pitcher go hard into 2B to break up a DP
