Thread: Mainstream Media Oblivious to Relevancy of Many Obama-gates

Personally, I'd like to have seen Fred Thompson get the Republican nomination.
yeah that's about right.
Regardless of who wrote it, what part of the article isn't true?

The criminal liberal media has swept all of these Obooma-Gates under the rug.

If he were a Republican, the Communist News Network along with CBS, ABC, NBC and PBS would be running them 24/7.
I know, it was hardly covered during the debate at all, they really let him slide on this.

I also can't believe Hardball didn't have any coverage of "bitter-gate" at all.

I don't even think CNN knows who Wright is...I mean, they haven't even played one clip of "God Damn America".

I mean, how will the country survive if Rev Wright's clips aren't played once an hour on the hour!!!

I am glad we have you here, to expose the criminal media who has not printed one word of criticism about Obama ever.

    what a tool

    +1

Haha, to say that the media is not covering the negative topics on Obama is nothing short of laughable.

    excellent post.

It amazes me that we consider the media criminal for not asking tough question to a candidate. But its okay that the media failed to do its job of vetting the merits of a war. Instead the media beat the drums of a war that was started on false pretenses. Now there are thousands of dead men, women and children as well as Billions of dollars sent overseas. I am glad we have our priorities in order :zzz:
Warfish, I know you like to say that you are in the middle here, but I don't really see you give these lectures to the people on the right who use the same tactics as ijf...

If anything, you should get on ijf's case for not being at all humorous in his attacks, but the derailing of topics with trivial sidebars and attacking of sources are rampant on the the other side as well...
Heh.

I fought that battle with CBTNY for a very long time, and very aggressively. I have always made it known that I wish he would post less of the "attack the source/dismiss the point" posts, and more "meat" posts of his viewpoint and opinion in more detail. He knows my opinion, but he has made clear he is whom he is, and isn't changing his posting style for my whims. No sense bashing a brick wall at this stage of the game, just cause some folks don't remember CBTNY's and my dragout verbal battles.

As for Dean (the other "Deep Right" guy)....he's a Pats Fan. He's lucky he's not banned just for that.:D

And in all honesty, I agree with them more often than the lefty/socialists these days. I don't hide that fact.

Nor do I claim I am in the "middle" of anything. I am not an "Independant", nor am I particularly "moderate". I am what I am, as well. Conservative on many issues, very Liberal on others, with a deep belief in freedom and liberty combined with personal responsabillity (and liabillity for your decisions/actions)and not relying on the State, or giving too much TO the state.

I think politically we are similiar, so I wasn't talking about your disagreeing with him on the issues. More so the dressing down you given him a couple times in a week or so in regards to his feeble attempts at fighting back..

The board leans pretty hard to the right and the guy gets his brains beat in enough around here that it seems like piling on for a mod chastise him about his posting behavior - particularly when it's not much different then the guys he's argueing with.

He is a Jets fan afterall and thus deserves some sympathy... ;)

If Mitt becomes VP candidate will they ask Obama how old he was when the Mormon church stopped saying blacks automatically go to hell for being black?
When Mormons go through the Endowment ceremony in the Mormon temples, they are given a set of "underwear" known as "garments". These garments must be worn by Mormons for life and no other underwear can be worn. Mormon women must wear their bras over their garments and some mormons even believe that one must wear the garments during sexual intercourse so the child will be born "under the covenant".

Mormons believe that the holy garment will protect them from fire, bullets, knives and other assaults if the person wearing the garments have kept all of their "temple covenants". During the washing and anointing ceremony the Mormon is told the garment "represents the garment given to Adam when he was found naked in the garden of Eden." The person is told that the garment "will be a shield and a protection to you against the power of the destroyer until you have finished your work here on earth." In general, Mormons view the garment as a symbolic and spiritual shield against the powers of Satan. Some LDS believe that the garment provides them with "supernatural powers" of physical protection. Bill Marriott, prominent Mormon and owner of Marriott Hotels International stated in an interview with Mike Wallace of 60 Minutes that he believed his garments protected him from being burned during a boating accident. I would disagree with that claim. I think if we really tabulated who falls where (not their own opinions, but each being opined by the entire forum), I would be we'd find a pretty even split of hard left vs. hard right, with quite a few either in the middle, or split between sides.

In any event, my comments towards IJF hardly qualify as picking on a sensative Board Minority.:P

Which is more odd? "Magic" Underwear, or drinking the Blood and consuming the the Flesh of a Man-God-Ghost Trifecta Savior?

Religions, in general, have more than enough oddities and "crazy" ideas of their own, to bother making fun of those of other faiths. What is funny is that someone would think "Magic underwear" any worse or more odd than that of a variety of Christian/Catholic beliefs.

I sure for you it is.

But what are you doing in here? I thought you were still enjoying your self-banishment/martyrdom to the main board, complaining about how big mean bad Warfish threatens to "ban everyone" who disagrees with him in here.

I have to be careful what I say. Don't want to give you an easy excuse to ban me.

But yeah, I found the exchange with CTM to be both funny and....revealing.

Ftr, I didn't say you banned everyone. I said you threatened to ban me twice.

    Have a nice day.
