    Baseball Paintings

I'm working on a show for FSN called Baseball's Golden Age (a look at baseball between the 30s and 60s). I had the opportunity today to meet this artist that was doing some research in our library of footage to see the ads and colors in the stands for some of his upcoming work.

He's a really nice guy and I wanted to share some of his work with some of you guys who'd probably appreciate it.

And for the more modern, he generously offered me a print of this guy:

Obviously a bittersweet memory, but will look amazing when framed in my room.

You can check out his site and see more of his paintings here:

I believe it's Mickey Mantle. The site tells you... many of them are famous moments in time... he has the stories up to go with them.

What sucks is, his site refers us to another site for prints, and there's only two, and one's a Redsox creaming the Yankees theme! lol

Half of his best work is listed as sold, and he's only got two prints for sale?

EY, if you see this guy again, tell him to get his head out of his azz....

    He could make a fortune...

Yeah, I really don't understand the prints either... I feel like he could really explode in the niche market he's in... he's got an agent and everything, so I don't really know what the deal is there... We exchanged emails, so I'll probably ask him when we speak again.
