Infected thumb sends Schneider to NY, May Require DL

Infected thumb sends Schneider back to NY
Breaking news: Brian Schneider has been sent to New York with an infected left thumb that may require a DL trip. He just landed in New York 40 minutes ago.

There will likely be a roster move to activate Gustavo Molina. We’ll see who is the roster casualty, depending on the seriousness with Schneider.

Ugh. We really need him back to bolster the bottom part of the line up. Casanova looks absolutely lost offensively.

Yankees are going to DFA Chad Moeller soon, maybe even tonight. Jose Molina is getting the nod behind the dish this evening. Moeller he has to pass through wavers, and not for nothing, he's hit pretty well for us.
    Code:
G	AB	R	H	2B	3B	HR	RBI	BB	SO	SB	CS	AVG	OBP	SLG	OPS
    6	20	5	7	2	0	1	3	3	4	0	0	.350	.435	.600	1.035

UPDATE: Looks like Schneider won’t go to the DL. Brady Clark looks like the roster casualty.
Well, Schneider isn't going on the DL so hopefully its nothing serious. But Gustavo Molina is likely to be called up for a few days still, not sure how I like having 3 spots on Catchers who cant hit but its not like we have any choice here. Guess we'll deal with it until Alou is ready to come back.
