    David Cone on YES Network

He's already my favorite commentator on YES. It's an absolute treat to hear Cone describe what a pitcher is thinking and what he should do.

I love him in the booth with Kay and Flaherty. Along with O'Neil, I really enjoy our recent alum up there.

I thought he started out a little timid (which is to be expected I guess) but I do think he has been very good. I still prefer Leiter but I do like Cone a lot.

I am not a Flaherty fan but I can't pinpoint why.

    Leiter is great.

Why can't the national telecasts find guys like these to replace the painful noise that comes out of McCarver and Morgan's mouths?

Anyone sitting next to Michael Kay will be amazing. Guy is the worst!! I do agree though, that Cone is good.

Yeah, the three ex-pitcher analysts in NY are very very good: Cone, Leiter and Darling. I do believe Darling does games for TBS or some other network.

I really like Cone, Leiter, and O'Neill. Singleton is pretty good also but I'm not a big fan of Flaherty.

I wouldn't go that far. He's okay at times, but he really irritates me at other times. JMO.

Agreed, Darling is really pretty good. But Mets telecasts become unbearable as soon as Keith Hernandez opens his mouth.

Well, that and the fact that you're watching the Mets.

I like Keith, he is goofy but I enjoy him.
