BAN ERNIE ADAMS from Jets Home Games

Its that simple, ban this weasel, do not let this weasel step foot in the Meadlowlands for Jets Home Games, and if the Patriots don't like it let them make a stink about it, lets make it a public argument, that will only force some of these lazy donut swilling Journalists to get off their fat @$$es and take a closer look at Ernie Adams, finally put this sneaky little man under a microscope, and I'm ALL FOR THAT since apparently Goodell and the league won't do it

So here's the plan, give Jets security the memo, Ernie Adams is not to step foot in the Meadowlands for Jets Home Games, if seen entering the building he is to be politely escorted OUT!!

If the Pats want to make a beef out of that, LET THEM, but I don't think they will

I suspect Ernie Adams is the LAST GUY IN THE WORLD the Patriots want to draw any attention too .. but if they do, well, that's actually what I would be hoping for

Perhaps, but don't forget he has also been directly implicated as the Quasi leader of the SpyGate espionage affair, the man to whom the illegal tapes were handed off upon completion

Therefore in my view the Jets have LEGAL JUSTIFICATION for banning Ernie Adams from Jets Home Games

If the league won't do it, in my view the NY Jets are perfectly justified in doing it themselves

.. and if that's a point the Pats wish to contend, I would welcome the further scrutiny on Ernie Adams

I'm not sure that you want to set the precedent of excluding certain members of the coaching staff/employees of the other team from the building. There are also probably league rules on this.

Why dont we just change our signals and beat them fair and square?

Consider this: We ban Adams, then the Patriots*, ostensibly with no tapes to aid them, beat our azzes with our newly improved line-up.

    Then what?

We look like the whining eejits we are widely portrayed to be AND petty sore losers.

Lets move on, operate under the assumption that our signals are not safe, and just win.

Thats the only solution for me.

GJ&H, you are usually a logical guy.

Please state the "legal" reason why the Pats can't have Adams in the booth. Its its for past transgressions that the Jets "think" he was involved with, doesn't this open up a floodgate for the Pats to ban Jets employees the "think" have done something...like stole a laptop or something?

I don't think one team can "legally" ban an oppossing coach, as much as they would like to. Also, the NFL coaching ranks are still a tight group. I can't see the Jets even WANTING to do this. People from the Jets/Pats will be looking for jobs from each other in the future.

We have legal justification to bar Brady from the stadium on game day, too. That's irrelevant. There has to be some sort of league rule prohibiting teams from excluding opposing teams' personnel from the premises on game day, and if there isn't, it's because no team would ever be dumb enough to attempt such a stunt.

This man has all but been implicated as BB's chief espionage officer, and he has been directly implicated as the man who took possession of the illegal tapes upon completion, BY THE GUY WHO MADE THEM, so in my view the Jets have every legal right to ban an alleged and directly implicated espionage officer from their premises to protect their organization from espionage

If the league won't get to the bootom of Ernie Adams and take appropriate action, in my view the teams are perfectly within their rights to do so .. same as the city doesn't place a cop in my house to protect my belongings, but I am perfectly within my rights to protect my own property when a thief enters my home without my persmission, I am perfectly without my rights to remove that thief from the premises, or in the Jets case ask Meadowlands security to kindly remove Mr. Adams

The Jets don't "THINK" Ernie Adams played a role in SpyGate, Ernie Adams has been directly implicated by the chief witness, Matt Walsh, the man who made illegal tapes and gave them to the league office to prove it

That man has directly implicated Ernie Adams as the Quasi ring leader of SpyGate, the man to whom he handed the illegal tapes upon their completion

That's a lot different than just thinking someone might be guilty of something, don't you agree?

This is more like inviting the thief who robbed your house back in for another go at it

Same reason I can't take a dump in your sink. One in lawful possession of property has the right to exclude others. Obviously it doesn't matter, but legally, sure, we can keep him out.

Using your logic...The Pats would have to bar Brian Dabol from Foxboro right? Because Matt Walsh says he was in on it too. Or wait, should the Jets bar Brian Dabol?

    This is just silly.

The N.F.L., in a statement, said: “Our security department reinterviewed Brian Daboll on Wednesday, and he has no recollection of a conversation with Matt Walsh about the Rams’ walk-through practice. Even if such a conversation occurred, it would NOT be a violation of N.F.L. rules.”

That's what we call a license. Just like the one Ernie Adams has to enter the Meadowlands on game day.

At this point I'm not sure we can believe every statement Matt Walsh makes.

#1. Mike Martz said yesterday there NO WAY a Pats employee was on the field during pregame. Absolutely now way.

#2. Brian Dabol says he never had the conversation with Walsh that Walsh talks about.

So your post is saying Walsh is lying about the Dabol conversation. What else has he lied about?

Wow.... So the guy that looks at the tapes scares you. Is it because your scared he has implemented a new secret operation of covert extraction ...or is it because he's heads above anything the Jets have on their payroll. What you should be more concerned about is Mangini's sophomore slump and if he is mentally equipped to handle head coaching responsibilities. There was a reason Belichick took over the defensive coordinator duties in Mangini's last year with the Pats.
