Yeah, thats what i was thinking, but he just isnt a capable option right now.

This bullpen still has so many holes.

Edit: Howie is saying that he thinks Heilman has options available. Gotta send his joke of an ass down if this is the case.

2-run homer to McCann in relief. But he gives up homers to everybody so it's no big deal i guess.

John Maine has trouble when he gets extra days rest. He has been quoted before as saying he normaly feels too strong and doesn't have great command of his pitches...looked like that today.

Mets had Glavine on the ropes early and SUPRISE, he squeaks out of the inning and turns into Cy Young. Oh well still three games left and I think he have a very fair shot at winning the next three

as long as Heilman stays away.

They had Glavine on the ropes in the 1st but he escaped after a Alou bullet to 3rd and a pretty well hit shot by Delgado to right center. Both with the bases loaded. After that he was brilliant while Maine looked too strong with no command. If one of those shots in the 1st had fell who knows but otherwise no-one was beating Glavine today.

As for Heilman I have no answer. Has to be mental as his mechanics look fine and he says he's healthy. Maybe he has blurry vision.

Losing to Glavine sucked...I thought they had this game locked up with the revenge factor & J Maine on the hill...u just don't know which Mets team will show up day to day. Makes me think this is prob just a .500 team.
Wasn't Bobby Cox arrested afew years ago for smackin his wife around?
