    Ddub goes yard!!

    AWESOME!

That's what you do when you just grind every pitch.

Just excellent fundies by the Mets paying dividends, from Vargas taking a 5 pitch AB to Tatis and 10 pitches.

    It adds up

I hate this Joe Torre returns to New York story.

It'd be newsworthy if he was returning to the Bronx, where he became a household name. But he's not. He's going to Shea, the place where he was a mediocre hitter and a mediocre manager, either of which was over 25 years ago. Complete non-story.

Wow, the inning just extended on a catcher's interference call(I think) with Vargas hitting and Castillo doubles!

    Now, Ddub goes deep again!!

    Why?

Vargas made a couple of bad pitches. He's only got 67 pitches so far, so he can get into the 7th inning, which is especially valuable because of the extra innings last night.

    Vargas is painfully, Trachsel-esque, slow.

    Darn.

Feliciano fails again. Despite his stats, he's been bad this year.

The Dodgers scored 3 runs their last 3 games and have scored 4 today alone.

Tommorow nights Kershaw - Maine match-up should be a good one. If Kershaw is anything like his first start we will need a big effort from Miane.

Dude, you need to relax a bit. Im as pessimistic as they come, and you make me look like the Washingotn Nationals announcers.
