2008 Harvard Commencement Address (this one is real, I promise)

haha, had to take a shot at jetstream23 there ;)

JK Rowling delivered a very, very good speech at Harvard last week. Funny, inspiring, and pretty remarkable considering her commitment to public service.

I like Rowling a lot. I actually have never read a Harry Potter book, but she single-handedly got hundreds of thousands of kids excited about reading in an age of ipods, cell phones, and Grand Theft Auto. You gotta respect that.
Many people start with a bottled sauce and doctor it up. mmonice sell wow power leveling You can cut the thickness (bottled sauces are usually too thick) and boost the spice fairly easily. My favorite bottled sauce is Maull's, out of St. Louis, and here are some ideas on how to doctor it. Start by simmering a bottle of sauce over low heat. Add 1/4 to 1/3 cup of cider vinegar or rice vinegar. Or put in the same amount of beer.buy wow power leveling A lot of people use Pepsi, which gives a sweet, caramel flavor. Add a tablespoon of granulated or fresh garlic. Throw in a little chili powder for an outdoorsy quality. Maybe add a tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce.WoW Gold A tablespoon of butter or prepared mustard tastes good, too. And you'd be surprised by how many sauces have a little chocolate in them. World of Warcraft power leveling
PaulieC, I haven't had a chance to watch the video yet, but I look forward to watching it. Also I wanted to say that as reader of Harry Potter I too am in awe of the way she was able to make my generation become so involved in a novel in a day of TV, Video games and the web. I still remember the day HP 7 came out had one of the most funniest moments of my life. After buying it I came home and checked most of my friends away messages and almost all of them were pretty much different variations of "reading harry potter, don't im me".

Wow, thank you for that. One of the best speeches I have ever heard in my life. This is the sort of thing I've been trying to absorb and take in. As I was told my first day of college almost a year ago, "The things you will learn most while at college occur outside the classroom". This is just another example of that.

Have anymore inspirational/philosophical things I could read/watch. It was a pretty rough year for me, and I've been determined to try to be the best person I can, and any help I can get is much appreciated.

And about the Harry Potter books. For the last 3 books, I distinctly remember completely devoting 2 days to the book for each. For example, my now ex and I would take everyday for multiple hours (high school love nonsense, yeah got it I was retarded), but the only days I would ever not talk to her would be those 2 days that I read Harry Potter.

I really hope she writes a more mature novel, because she clearly has a lot of intelligence and amazing writing style.
