    and they booed Ortiz when he walked across the field

    am I missing something, but everyone is getting excited with people hitting the ball out of the park on a shortened pitchers mound with the likes of batting coaches and agents throwing soft lobs and the hitter checking off on any ball he does not want to swing at?????
