This could be a tough series because we have Ponson and Rasner going, but who knows. Ponson surprisingly hasn't been awful.

It does feel good to start the second half with a sweep.

The SP the Twins are throwing at the Yankees on Monday and Tuesday are no better than Ponson and Rasner...Its an evenly matched series in terms of pitching...Its also worth mentioning both offenses struggle to score runs and are very erratic...The Yankees have a slight edge when it comes to the pen but if you see Nathan in the game its game over...

Should be a good series, the Yankees should win this one...

I understand that, but I've seen this team get shut down too many times by JAG's.

Same can be said for the Twins...

They got shutdown by a guy with a 5 ERA coming into today's game in Texas...

I see no reason why we shouldn't take 2/3. We should split the Ponson and Rasner starts and win the Moose start. Hopefully the bats really wakeup. Too bad we aren't facing Livan.

Would like to see two out of three, let's not forget the twins will be stiff competition for the Wild Card. Ponson is hit or miss, and Rasner we need at least 6+ runs to put up. Hopefully Moose can keep weaving his magic.

Well I'll take your word for it. I was just simply stating that I'm not confident with Ponson and Rasner, just like most Yankees fans.

I'm getting a little tired of Rasner. It seems like the magic wore off. But on the flip side, who else are you going to throw out there?

Here's the reason I am wary: How many times so far this season have the Yanks put together a little winning streak, seeming like they're about to turn a corner, only to follow it up by losing 3 of the next 4 or 4 of 5?

All the signs are there. Depsite this weekend's sweep, they only scored 7 runs in their last 24 innings. 2.6 RPG is not going to cut it this week. Rasner and Ponson aren't Andy and Joba.

whats up with Cano this year, has he shown signs of turning it around. I know he is usally a better 2nd half player, what do you guys think?

Well he's tearing off the cover off the ball right now and I expect him to keep it up. For some reason it just takes him a long time to get into a groove. Hopefully once he's in the league a few more years, it will take him less time to get going.

At the allstar break I threw my yankee fitted into a fire. It was cursed, every time I wore it we lost. I bought a new one before the A's series. Long story short, we should go undefeated in the second half. As long as it doesn't touch the ground. Same rules as the bible.

    There ya go, Anthony.

Asked and answered...all in the same question.
