Barack has stolen the spolight with his trip to the MENA and the republicans are scrambling to come up with something. Even the president is now in 'negotiations' with MENA nations.

Barack has run a fine race to this point and he will continue to sharpen his fighting tools.

Let's face it, to this point the republicans don't have an anwser for him. Like I said before, he beat the Clintons. Something no republican has done at this level.

    "Stolen"?

When was the spotlight on McCain to start?

He wins in a landslide, and the Media gets a big "assist" on the victory.

even if what you say is true (it isn't btw, since Obama himself says he'll keep U.S. troops in iraq in some form), he should still have to define victory in Afganistan, right? Since he plans to send additional divisions, and perhaps even enter Pakistan against Pakistans will.
that's a fair point, he should have to define victory in Afghanistan, if he's going to pour in more troops. I never said Obama was perfect, just preferable.
EDIT: Oh, and btw, what do those "objective millitary scientists" say about fighting and winning a land war in Asia, specificly in Afganistan? Hows the track record on that?
It's not good - even worse track record on winning a two front war.

In fairness this all reflects poorly on the person who decided to start these wars, more than the two candidates who will have to deal with it - however McCain wants to extend failed policies (for 100 years?), Obama wants to make a new course, that's preferable in my book.

    Big assist??
When has the media gone after Mccain?? He acts like he some military genius with all this foreign policy experience yet they dont say a thing when he confuses the Sunni and Shia groups in Iraq?? Does an experienced foreign policy man talk about the non-existing Iraqi-Pakistani boarder or still talk about Czechoslovakia as if it still is a country?? Where wer the attacks on that?? What about when he mocked Obama for wanting to sit down and talk with Iran? He made a big joke about it, but when the current administration does the very same thing, where was the media to press Mccain on whther he supports what the Bush admin is doing with talks with Iran???

The media treats Mccain with kid gloves. The guy is a jackass and makes mistakes all the time that the media glosses over. He makes jokes about women getting raped, about giving innocent Iranians lung cancer and the media glosses over it as its " oh thats just John being John". Give me a break.

This is the Obama line, sells well with Democratic voters. That scrubbed Times Op-Ed by McCain, which will now be read by 100 times more people because of the story behind it by the way, outlines his plan to win.

McCain went from worst to first in the primary, but how? The surge. All the other candidates had played politics before the surge and, whatever merits they had, looked liked noodles against McCain who unwaveringly bet the right way.

Obama is on record ad nauseum saying the surge would not only fail, but would make things worse.

And you think McCain can't defend the laughable Kos-Kry that he wants put American troops in Iraq for 100 years?

I don't like McCain for many reasons, but not these above. And he has never suffered from lack of popularity. I think you guys are underestimating the GOP candidate, nervously so, I might add.

The only thing foolish is that anyone would actually belive this. McCain is "dead campaign walking".

The Messiah has already won. It's all over but the whining.

What has Obama won convincingly yet, besides the mainstream media and your imagination?

Mostly. And with the nomination certain, he was still losing important states to her. That doesn't bode well.

Moreover, he won a lot swing states (over Clinton) and leads McSame in the polls now.....

I can't wait until the debates when McSame has to defend the Bush policies (foreign and domestic blunders). It's going to be hilarious
