WTF man, why didn't you worry about that when you was saying we don't need Washburn?

NOW you're lamenting the matchups .. NOW .. isn't it a little late for that?

and you think Washburn makes me go.. "Looking at the matchups, we should win 3 of 4" '

    LOL... No he doesn't.

Jarrod Washburn is not a great pitcher anymore. He does not put this team over the top.

Says the man who said we shouldn't trade Hughes for Santana

Washburn gives us a much better chance than those two suckasses Ponson and Rasner

We should have traded a decent prospect for Washburn, trying to steal him was arrogant

He wasn't even asked about Ponson or Rasner, he volunteered that he's confident in Ponson and Rasner without even be asked about either guy, that's a lot different than being asked about them and lying just to be nice

    1. Please don't be petty
    2. We wouldn't be having this conversation if Wang was healthy
    3. When you have to pay an average to below average starting pitcher $14 million dollars.. it is never a steal. Wasbhurn for $14 million, Kei Igawa, low level prospect. You honestly think the Yankees should of gave them more?

What do you want him to do? Showing confidence in your pitchers is what a good manager should do. Also don't forget Girardi is the coach, Cash is the Gm.

Look, the Angels right now are the better team. Bringing in Wash is not what it is going to take to beat them. Andy and Moose throw well, we can split. If not, we lose 3 of 4. The Yanks haven't been able to beat the Halos in 6 years, what makes you think a mediocre starter would have thrown them over the top?

Or should they have brought up Kennedy to make his first ML start in months against the best team in baseball? Look, I want Kennedy up soon as well, but not this series. Maybe in the next one.

This team has to play the Angels 10 times still this season, (nice scheduling there). Boston is done with them. That is going to make catching boston very difficult, Manny or no Manny. The moves the Yankees made will not hurt them in the future at all. Sending prospects for a salary dump is a poor decision.

I'm not trying to be petty but sometimes you aggravate me when you act like you're more concerned with next year than this year, as if we have no chance to win the WS this year or that opportunity should be taken for granted, and I disagree with that mentality, I think every chance to win a championship is precious and I absolutely believe we have a chance this year, but not if we have to rely on Ponson and Rasner every fifth day as two fifths of our starting rotation, that's like throwing up the white flag, so why not trade some half decent prospect for a savvy veteran like Washburn who has loads of pennant race and big game experience, why does it have to be a complete hose job?

I'm sorry, Tyler, but it doesn't make any sense that you should dismiss Washburn over those two absolute scrubs as you have, that just doesn't make any sense too me
