Bay Comes Through in Red Sox Debut

He scored both of Boston's runs in a 2-1 win over the As, including a triple off the Green Monster in the 12th inning. In the fifth, he made an inning-ending sliding catch on Ryan Sweeney's sinking fly ball near the left-field line with a runner on third. And with a runner at second with two outs in he ninth, he got a good jump on Daric Barton's soft liner to left and backhanded it going toward the line.

Sure it's just one game. But how fitting is it that in Bay's debut the Sox win a game that they would have lost with Manny playing defense? And the Dodgers lose in the 9th with Manny grounding into a double play?
