I like the matchups. But those series seem to be the ones we struggle with

They keep talking about the temp and storm coming to Texas but I always assumed they had a roof on the stadium. Do they not? Seems wierd that they wouldn't...Houston and AZ both do.

    THE SEASON starts right here!
No less than 3 outta 4.
This team better love each other (no homo) because they will be spending a sh*tload of time together this month.

The temps are out of control down. 106 degress is unbearable.

On paper, we win at LEAST 3 of 4.

On paper, we should have lost 2 of 3 to the Sox and win 2 of 3 from the Orioles.

A sweep really sends a message here.

I live 20 minutes from the stadium.. No roof, very little shade. It is freakin hot out here right now. I was going to go to a game, but I can't stand sitting out there for 3+ hours. At 9 at night it is still 95 degrees. Heat index yesterday hit 117.

Pity the catchers. Any starter that goes over 6 innings is a horse.

Andy loves pitching in the Texas heat, I expect him to have a big game, and Joba did pretty well 2 starts ago when it was really really hot during a day game.

It's worse here not than it was then. It is a legit 105 with a lot of humidity. Pitchers can pitch well, but they aren't going out there for 8-9 innings. Hey, if either of them does, great, but IMO the bullpen is going to work a bit the next 4 days.

Plus, there is also the factor of the Rangers, they can hit a bit as well, so the pitchers will be working out there while it's hot. Don't get me wrong, I think the Yanks take 3 of 4, but it will be tough on the starters. Will be 98-99 degrees at the start of tonights game. It was 97 at 10 PM last night.

If it doesn't cool off, Ponson may actually have a heart attack in the second inning of his start.

Seems like Pudge called a fine game with Ponson. He's fine there, and Joba has never had a problem shaking off a catcher. For a rookie, he seems to have a good idea what he wants to do - and sometimes goes to the slider instead of the fastball too much, so maybe Pudge will help him there.

The upcoming stretch of games is very tough. Rangers, Angels & Twins. 3 very scary teams to play.

On and off the field, He's yet to have a bad interview and I'm sure you all heard Kay talking about him at Old Timers day.
