Pennington is one of the 10 best players in Jet History

I dare anyone to name 10 better

  2. #2
let me start with any 10 random starters from this years roster...

One great year and mediocre the rest of the way makes him one of the best ever to wear green and white? If you're right we are a sad pathetic franchise indeed

  3. #3
Well, since we're really not rich in history, that's not saying too much. We only have two players in the HOF.

This says a lot about us as a franchise. No wonder we haven't won a damn thing in 40 years.

Didn't you hear that we (the people who don't think Chad's piss makes champagne) should stop talking about him because he isn't a Jet? Yet threads like this come about

Ahh well this will be in the dump where it belongs soon enough.

    actually we have
    namath
    maynard

    and technically
    ronnie lott
    art monk
    john riggins

  12. #12
Chad led us to 3 playoff appearances. No other qb in Jets history has done that.

  13. #13
Not sure how you define better, but here are 11 off the top of my head
    Namath
    Klecko
    Toon
    Walker
    Martin
    McNeil
    Maynard
    Rasmussen
    Mawae
    Snell
    Boozer

I like Chad too, and I could argue either way, but we have had better in our history.

Yeah and the Mets should count Willie Mays as one of their Hall of Famers. Riggins is a Jetskin, Monk is a Jetskin, and Lott is a 49er

No way does Ham, CBNY, Savage or some of the older, long time Jets fans list Chad in the top ten.

I'd quickly list Klecko, Lyons, Gastineau, Namath, Walker, Toon, Martin, Maynard, Lewis(Mo), Mawae. Some might also add Sauer and or Boozer.
