    Mets @ Brewers

    Johan Santana vs. Ben Sheets

    Jon Niese vs. Manny Parra

    Oliver Perez vs. David Bush

Jon Niese!!! We're sending 3 LHP against a team that hits them well.

Also, thank god we don't have to face Sabathia.

edit; Thank goodness Nats have been on fire lately, hopefully they take at least one from the Phils, we'll need some help as we go into the final series against the Phils this season starting friday... can't wait. Also going to change my sig/avi for some good Mets mojo!

Uh, no, not really, even if we sweep we have a much more important series coming up this weekend vs the Phils. I don't see either team pulling away, I'd be shocked if this thing didn't come down to the last weekend again.

Yeah true, but this is definitely the stetch run. But i mean if we take 2/3 we are definitely in the drivers seat, thats all i was trying to point out.

Agree. A sweep would help us in the WC race should we need to fall back on that. NL East title wise a sweep would be nice but it in no way knocks the Phillies down unless they get swept themselves by the NATS.

This series is going to be HUGE. One of the biggest if not the biggest of the season. Playoff's are a month away and the Brewers are a playoff caliber team and will be a good test for us. We also get to see Niese against some ML hitters, hopefully he can contribute down the stretch.

Nice to have Anderson back, I like having him on the bench. Also good to see Argenis got the call. I really want to see what Parnell will have and it will be good to have some extra arms in the BP, no matter who they are...

It's things like this first inning that make me want to put holes in the wall. Blown chances.

Santana getting hit hard early. Get it together and Murphy has been a mess in LF so far this game.

We need to start Endy in LF. Murphy came up hot but he is cooling off now. Let him rest and claer his head because im sure it might be starting to wear him down a little bit. We need Endy's defense...
