ESPN did a great job of capturing all the different Yankee Stadium traditions (Roll call, Enter Sandman as Mo enters the game, New York, New York after the game, etc.). I won't lie, I got a little choked up.

ESPN did something last night that it sadly never does.

    It shut up. Completely.

It had to be a good fifteen minutes after that game ended last night that Morgan and Miller said absolutely nothing and let the picture tell THE STORY.

Not to worry though...you can be sure tonight that Kornhesiser will not let 15/100s of a second go back with yakking about something inane....in true ESPN fashion.

Last night was like an oasis in a desert.

Couldn't have said it any better. It was refreshing. I actually really enjoyed ESPN. I thought it was great when they brought Whitey and Yogi into the booth for an inning. My one complaint with Morgan was how much he kissed Reggie's ass when he was in the booth. Other than that, no complaints from me.

Yeah, they stepped it up last night by stepping it down. Good job. But Joe Morgan still sucked. This tool has been the biggest Yankee hater going for years. Now I'm supposed to believe he respects them? Please.
